Zech Soakai is a spoken word artist whose creative and professional work is focused on re-storying South Auckland.

By day he works as a kaiako teaching, walking & learning alongside the Young Brown Warrior Scholars of the 298. He is inspired relentlessly by South Auckland’s hustle and bustle, and is reminded of our region’s beauty and grace on a daily basis.
