Conceived and created by the U.C.B. and premiered at our recent event at Nathan Homestead, Untitled conveys that we can’t put a label on creativity/dreams. Therefore the film stays untitled and nonlinear.

  • Tai Nimo

    Tai Nimo is a Tāmaki Makaurau-based creative working with digital mediums of illustration, stop-motion animation and traditional drawing. Graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts and with an artist residency with Tautai Gallery under her belt, Nimo continues her work as a freelance creative. Nimo’s most recent work is for the Media outlet Stuff, as the cover artist for ‘The Forever Project’ climate change magazine.

    Yakio (she/her/they/them) is a Clendon City taupou and mixed media artist who specialises in oil painting. Her work explores the intersectionality of modern Pasifika youth, as well as celebrating and embracing the agency of brown bodies. Heavily influenced by her Samoan and South Auckland based upbringings, she has always been interested in deconstructing the ideas of the Teina Sā, finding ways to reclaim that title to fit whichever context she desires.

    Fashion design and stylist Devanyelle hails from Rewa. Originally wanting to become a graphic designer, Dev now merges her interests in digital arts and photography within a fashion medium. For Dev, creativity allows her to express herself fully without the burden of criteria. A working artist, she is also a fashion and business student at AUT.

    Shateya “Teya” Fuimaono comes from the 278. Currently a design student at AUT, Teya’s creative practice revolves around photography and design. Becoming part of the South Auckland art scene has inspired her to challenge herself, leading her to create powerful pieces of art that she didn’t even realise she was capable of.
