003 ––– A love letter to South Aukilangi

Dear South Aukilangi!

Imagine how boring Auckland would be without You!

Because in Our intersection,
from Point A to Point XXL,
they continue to miss out
how vibrant and beautiful
You truly are!

With sirens sounding
surround sound symphonies,

Raxxed from corners
of school classrooms,
for the corners of parks,
streets and headlights!
They don't annoy us 👀

With streets, paths, footpaths filled
with Aunties flexing
their fresh new hairdos,
dyed blonde, red, maroon for Church
or Zumba back at the Town Centre.

Where shared lunches
are shared feasts,
seki feeds!

Emitting aromas of
kai-fried chicken, sapasui,
Yeah luosi, mayonaise, curry,
must I mention the pani popo.

Home to Heroes

Yeah Tua, Kirwan, Hillary,
Adams, both of them.
And Our unsung heroes
of Milk and Honey
Hopes and Dreams,
of 9 to 5 laboring,
factories,drivers and cleaners,
essential workers

This one's to You! ❤

You could say
South Aukilangi is the Ava Bowl

Cultures of many
weaving together,
intertwining,
forming a recollection of
harmonious connection.

We are United,
more than just seemingly divided.

When they miss Our intersection,
They miss Our interconnectedness.

Love, the Revolution.
